Book Club
If you don’t belong to a Book Club, join ours!
What we’ve been reading…
There are many reasons to join a book club or to start your own. Being part of a group challenges you to do more reading, to choose books that normally you might not be encouraged to read, to make new friends, and to just have fun.
Once a week our book club meets to dish about what we’ve been reading, as well as, dish up some pretty good meals. And always, ending our time together over a pot of tea and something sweet. Our little club may not have a lot of structure, but we really do discuss the book. We generally meet in the same home, but sometimes, to change things up, we’ll get together at our local Panera and take a corner of the restaurant over.
Here are a few of the books that we have recently finished and would like to recommend, as well as, a couple that are on our future reading list. We haven’t been able to meet regularly over the summer, but we should be back at it by September.
Right now I am in the process of reading Change of Heart, by Jodi Picoult. Read along with me if you like and let me know what you think of it.
