Hello, I’m Linda Hawkinson. Welcome to Pink Ladybug, a gathering place for inspiring and encouraging real women experiencing real life journeys. A community for sharing the life experiences that make you think, laugh, and cheer for each other.

Pink Ladybug is a website about living a full and balanced life. Learning what your interests and passions are and then making time for them. It’s about encouraging and supporting other women who are dealing with the same life struggles we all deal with, and finding the courage to step out of the box and try something new… now!

That’s kind of how my life has been… always on the edge, trying something new. Sometimes failing, sometimes succeeding, but always discovering new talents and interests, and learning the important lesson that life starts RIGHT NOW.

Join me and my friends as we discuss the dramas of day-to day life. We’ll be sharing tips and ideas, good books, good music and perhaps new ways to look at everything.

Pink Ladybugs: unique, rare and one of a kind

Why a “Pink” Ladybug?  Several years ago, my sisters-in-law and I had a mid-life bonding moment involving tattoos and ladybugs. Ever since, we have had our own little “Ladybug Club” of sorts. I thought the Ladybug was a great mascot for women. In many cultures, she symbolizes good fortune. She’s a cute bug no matter what size or color. The Pink was simple… the pink ribbon (and often the color pink) is the international symbol for breast cancer awareness. As a breast cancer survivor myself, Pink Ladybug seemed like the perfect choice.
